Day 8, Day 8! I have made it 8 days in a row! ( 8 days a week, I LOVEEE WRITING!)

Day 8 !
Today’s Nudge: What do you do to foster joy? What’s your version of ‘flinging glitter in the trenches?”

All the small things. Glitter is often found in the smallest of the littlest things! Of course I know, even the littlest of things, really aren't that LITTLE! Does size really matter? One of the running jokes as a photographer we joke about is, my lens is bigger than yours! (Clears throat, that's what she said!) But seriously, also as a photographer, you tend to learn and teach your self how to really pay attention to the smallest detail. You have to really open your eyes, and an extra lens, to see there is more than meets the eye! As in any artist. You really tend to pay attention to every single detail. EVERY little blemish in our life!
I love to take long walks down not so traveled paths and find that one flower!
You know that one flower, that one that sticks out the most. That makes ya think, how did you get here little guy? It's like Mother Natures way of getting our attention. Making ourselves really think. How did this bright beautiful red flower, end up among these green leaves and or dead trees. Then, life all of the sudden appears? Or that one pink cloud in a morning sunrise of grey clouds. This picture was taken by me from my phone walking in the Goat Trees at Dauphin Island. I had gone on a bicycle ride by myself while camping this summer. It was quite a ride considering it was really humid out. By the time I got to the goat trees I just wanted to sit and be with  nature. Then I found this little flower. It was like my reward. I can't tell you how spell bound I was by this flower. IT WAS THE ONLY ONE! In a sea of green bushes! I really felt this was just for me! I knew I had to take a photo of it. Look at it's beauty would ya? That was my glitter for the day!
No photo shopping on these pictures. And I love the detail of the sun flare. This photo was also taken on the same day of the bicycle ride. I felt like Mother nature really wanted me to pay attention to the small details that day. You know what? I did! I am still spell bound! This particular day I had so much on my mind. When that happens, I spend much of my time in nature. Nature has it's way of reminding me to keep it simple stupid! For sometimes that little small thing, that you are worrying about now,  you will be laughing at in a year from now. I really needed to step out and smell the roses and my thoughts were answered in these trees. When I came back home later that weekend, I even used this flower to inspire my art! It's a fun technique by Tiare Smith Woods called splotch art! And boy painting this for One Bad Ass Art Journal with her, made me feel even better.
I made my own glitter that day! Sometimes you need to make your own glitter in this world! Sometimes even glitter finds you when you least expect it! It's not that every thing that glitters is golden, sometimes it is very deep, dark, mysterious, and lackluster! Those lackluster days really make those filled with glitter worth while when you find it in the smallest of places!

Brain Stew, Purse Stew, My purse is too heavy!

Girl sometimes, you've gotta carry that weight!

Which brings us to today’s nudge:
Day 7 by Effy Wild

Dump Your Mental & Emotional Purse all over the table that is your blog. Don’t sort it. Don’t apologize for any of it. Just take an inventory, in list form, and let the old tissues & twenty year old mints fall where they may.

On day 7 Effy Wild blogs about purse dumping. And I literally bought myself a new purse yesterday. Something I  never do. Something I never get girlie with. Something I never spend money on. Something I think that I will never need....
While this purse dump is real, i will also really be cleaning 3 years out of an old purse!
*think it is big enough?*

While you may think you are about to read about what kind of all sorts of junk is in my old purse I am cleaning out, you aren't. I'll spare you with the facts, that some days I do stuff lipstick in my purse. Others, I put eye shadow, and lip gloss in there. And even a spare hair brush at times... really I do! But  I won't do that to you.  All of us ladies know what goes in a purse !
However, I do have an issue with lists. Creating with them and sticking to them. I'm sucky at lists. I will just make a few talking points? And Let blogger line them out for me! LOL

  1. TIME FOR THE BIG PURSE DUMP!
  2. Meet Nori today for dinner and send off said new purse with her. Dumping a new purse off with someone? Why yes girl! Nori Bedazzels! And she does anything from jackets, to belts, to shoes, to boots, you name it. I am going to my brothers wedding. We are the nicknamed kids LIV. He is D Liv, everywhere, we have this nickname. So, for his wedding I bought this purse, and Nori is going to bedazzle, "LIV" on it! Wonder if D Liv will notice? He once paid for his own shoes customized with D Liv on them ! True Story!
Aren't these the bomb! Us Liv's we dominate!
My healthy lunch!
  1. Finally, having all of my ducks in a row for this wedding an entire MONTH in advance! I am the bridesmaid, and I will be attending a grooms couple shower, a bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and the wedding event. Staying in a hotel downtown the weekend of the said wedding. And I have all my clothes bought and paid for, a few on credit but hey, it's worth it! Your baby brother only gets married once! But Here it is Sept 7th, and I have EVERYTHING I NEED FOR THE WEDDING, including their gifts. Man, it feels so good to be wonder woman, and not have to rush to find anything. I hate that last minute feeling. I also have hair appointments made for the days of big events. And I know exactly what color my nails are going to be for said events too! Where did this girl come from? I'm so usually not this prepared! Oh and I even have shoes for all events too! Time to break some new shoes in! I said hey, I got some new shoes!!!!
  2. While, I am not in panic mode about this wedding at all, I am in panic mode about Hurricane Irma. Come on girl, whachya got? Where are you gonna go? We have a hotel room booked at the Hard Rock for 2 days and 2 nights when the storm is supposed to hit. But that was booked 2 weeks ago for the Giants game. Right now I am so not worried about the kick off to NFL. I am worried about this storm. But thankful for the reservation, to get the hello outta here if we need to. Chances are, it wont make it anywhere near Biloxi!
  3. I treated myself today and ate a healthy lunch! I hardly ever make time to eat. I usually get so busy when King Bee is at work, that I just make a big dinner.
  4. Oh, I am the good wife again, I am making broccli and cheese soup for dinner. And it will be ready when my husband walks through those doors.
  5. No, I don't want anything. I usually always have dinner ready when King Bee gets back home.
  6. I am feeling I am back and on a normal routine finally! And Man, that feeling is one of the best kinds!
  7. I even made time for myself and watched my netflix and chill show this afternoon.
  8. While, I am late on my blogger, I am still on day 7! Staying on track! However, I have put down my morning pages and have been printing out this blogger in the place of. I feel as if I am cheating somehow!
  9. And it is 3:33. Time to get dinner started! Time to get off book face. Time to stop worrying about this storm. Time to go try my outfits on and make sure that they still fit. I think it is so weird how you can get home from the store and even though you tried it on at the store, it doesn't fit right when you get home!
I will have to get with you all tomorrow. I'm such a busy bee today! I can't sit still. Literally.
Kisses,
Liv Stone!

Hip Hop found me!

     More on day 6's nudge.

The day Hip Hop found me, the shy, band nerd, went in hiding, and arose a beautiful grinding woman.   Hip hop, in Mobile Alabama, was The Last Mr Biggs, Little Jon and the East Side boys, all the port city boys and more. I worked with a friend of mine from high school at Captain D's. She and The Last Mr Biggs are two of my haunts that I talk about in my other post, that I write about a lot or art thinking of them. She passed away with Leukemia at a very young age. He just passed away a few years ago from a hard life. So, how did hip hop find me at Captain D's?
Names here in this blog are given by The Last Mr Biggs. He was one of my favorite customers that would come to Captain D's. She, was named Xtini, and I was named Britney with glasses, by him. These are our true names he gave us, when he would come through the drive through to get food. Xtini, was close to him before me. She would call him and tell him which of his 7 cars to bring to Captain D's when he came to visit. It wasn't until she passed that he and I became greater friends trying to keep Xtini's memory alive as long as we both could.
We both happened to be at the same Chevron gas station, the night Xtini died. I was able to tell him to come to her funeral. And that bond between us was never broke from that day forth. He actually came to the funeral. I actually heard snickers in the background of rude classmates of mine from high school, wondering what on Earth I was doing there with Mr Biggs.
Lil Jon had trial coming in California, and we were all cutting up trying to make him forget about his trial. We knew it was him when they came through the drive through. As a joke, Xtini dared me to say, "please pull through the window!" So, I did. And we cracked up laughing. Lil Jon was laughing when he pulled up at the window. Years later that song everyone knows, "GET LOW..." was written. And I had Mr Biggs tell my husband one night we gave him the hook for it. Actually' after that I gave him plenty of hooks for his songs.  My husband even gave him a few as well! And my really good friend who introduced me and my husband recorded Mr Biggs and was PCP records.
We would have long in depth conversations about life and death, after Xtini left us. He eventually started calling me his daughter. He would always say I love you when we got off the phone. Sometimes he would call me back twice just to say it again. There was a bond that we had that we never broke. I would even get asked to come over and punish his son for skipping school. We would bring him dinner over, and we would pray over every meal together.
But, he was also one big believer in my photography. I went to several of his shows, and took pictures for him. He always tried to pay me. The first few times I did accept the money. After that it kinda felt odd. But he kept me busy. I have taken pictures of some famous rappers in my life time because of him. Through his contacts. He brought out another me. A hard working woman. He saw my dream, and I saw his.
When he died a few years ago, I really haven't picked up my camera much. But, I dove more into mixed media art. I miss the long nights we would sit on his front porch and talk and eat red beans and rice. He used to call his mom and say Britney with glasses is here mom, she wants to talk to you. I'd actually talk to his mom, talk to all of his kids. We were family. The day hip hop found me, I found a new family.
When I talk about where I come from, I must always give him credit. My mom and my father know this, and still can't get passed his stage persona. But, I know his heart. I can talk for days about him. He was so special to me. I can tell you about the day he almost died on us, but came back to life with a diamond in his eye. One scary night. I can tell you about his watch, his cars, which I rode in one of them... and a few of his hideout homes. But, I will keep those things close and dear to my heart <3

Me, his baby girl and my Daddy. I still Love you Daddy!
The Last Mr Biggs and my husband
He would leave me sweet little messages on my birthday, either the day on before or after
(not much of a poetic post, but It is 2 am and I can't sleep... writer by insomnia!)
mainly I am up worried about Hurricane Irma! Where will she go? Hopefully far away from here!

The truth is out there!

Sept 6th. Day 6
On effys blog along
TODAY’S NUDGE: Write about your hometown, your roots, or where you come from.

Have you ever asked yourself where your CREATIVITY comes from? I was six years old and my great grand mother Oank, was in the hospital dying from a stroke. While we were in there thinking she was possibly going to make it, we had all the hope in the world she would, her screen flat lined. A second stroke, and she was gone. I remember not knowing what to think. How to react. But I cried for days. I wasn't able to go to her funeral, because my mom thought I was too young to attend. I remember writing for several days. About anything and everything. Yes, at 6! I wrote. I even had a short story published in a local 4 h group for the state from this, experience.
In my life I have never understood life and death.
I have had several people gone way too soon. At very young ages, suicide, cancer, car wrecks, those that lived hard lives, ect. You name it. I won't go into detail. But I think my creativity comes from the deep dark place from the walls within me. I fully believe my creativity comes from the haunting memories of those loved ones lost, way too soon.
While my art might not be deep dark and depressing, there are several layers that build up a page. And the end result is very light and pleasing to the eye, almost celebrating the life of the person. When I write it is the same, I write about memories with that person, and it brings them back to me. Almost keeping them alive with me. But I know they are no longer with us.
I read this quote once, "Our creativity comes from without, not within!" I firmly believe this. While the walls within me create my works of art, poems, ect, I am writing and creating from without having this person in my life anymore. I have never avoided creating. It is a release for me. But I haven't really sat too long to ponder where my creativity actually comes from.
The truth is out, and if feels so good finally admitting to my loved ones, where I believe my creativity comes from. I mean, how on earth I went from one day to drawing stick figures, to all of the sudden drawing faces and such still shocks me! And my poetry and writings, are deep, just as the layers of an 100 year old oak tree. They make you ask questions. I still ask my self, I wrote that when I am done? My only answer is that I am haunted so to speak. And when I write I don't know where these words come from. At times I am even dumbfounded, and I feel like someone else grabbed my pen and wrote it.
While, it may seem I have it figured out where my creativity comes from, I still don't know! My Dad always says, "You don't know what ya don't know!" This seems like a good enough question to explore today. I know my Dad is a great writer, my grandmother that is still alive loves to write, and so does my grandfather. (Even though I am adopted, I think I have adapted to their writing skills and honed in on them as I grew up, from them....) But this painting creativity, I can honestly only answer today, that I believe it comes from being haunted so to speak at a young age....

Like, I'm the one who wants to get invited!

Day 4 Blog Along with Effy!

TODAY’S NUDGE: What is something you struggle with? What battles are you fighting that most people know nothing about? What’s something about you or your life that makes you feel weird, or different, or isolated?

I am an old soul! I really feel isolated around people my own age!! My soul is a left over 60 year old crazy hippie! I have never gotten along with people my own age! Maybe for a little while, but I either push them away, or I isolate myself, because I fear we really have nothing in common ground! Probably why I married someone 23 years older than me! FACT! I can function in my brain like a 60 year old. And it really hurts seeing someone my age not using their brain to the full potential! Then I can't  always keep snide remarks to myself. Somewhere along the lines, I will say full out how you are making me feel and why we just can't be friends. It isn't YOU, it's me!
I wake up thinking I WANT friends!
I do want friends. I don't struggle at all making them. I'm not as socially awkward, as you may think.     I have more friends than I can count on, my fingers and toes. Of all walks of life. And for the most part, we do all get along.

During my lifetime, I have just become picky and choosy as who gets to see the best me. Like, I am that girl that wants to get invited, but I probably wont go. Trust me, I do want to be part of it. But, there's that part of me, that says, you are too mature. At times I know I really am! I have to carefully look at all areas of my life. If I feel that one of my boundaries might be crossed, then it's best I just don't go!
I even have a funny story for you. Then you may understand me. I graduated high school in 2002. But, some of my best buddies were two years older and graduated in 2000. Come ten year reunion time, for those in 2000, I got asked to come, and I didn't even graduate in 2000. Come in 2002 reunion, I didn't get asked to come AT ALL! I wasn't shocked, because, I JUST DONT GET ALONG with folks my own age. I think I somehow make them feel uncomfortable. Without meaning to. It's nothing I do, other than sense how awkward it really is to be in the same room as a 34 year old. I feel total tension.
If I have ever made you feel some way because of this, all I can say is I am sorry. I really don't get it either. It is seriously like I have another soul trapped inside me!  While I may seem strange to you, or a bit off, I AM. I embrace that! Thank you to those of you who embrace it with me! And don't question my intentions!

(like this summer for example. I loved having breakfast with old Man Larry. A dear friend of my fathers... really, I enjoy talking to older folks. So much insight they have to offer and value for us!)

KISSES,

LIV STONE!

Secret Secret I has a secret!

   Secret's out!

(I LOVE WRITING! - DUH!)

So, when I was in creative writing in high school, I came up with my own writers nickname pseudonym. I really toyed with the idea of Liv Livingston, since LIVINGSTON is my maiden name. But I came up with the name Liv Stone :) but like us Livingston's do! LIVIN' BABY :) Liv worked Stone worked and stuck for me :)

All I really want, is some peace man! & *BRIGHT LIT BLUE SKIES*

Blogging Along with Effy Day 4 !

Today’s Nudge: What really stresses you out, and how to do take care of yourself when you’re in the midst of *waves at all that*.

Eclipse season has happened. And I don't know about you, but this summer has thrown several bones my way. There has been a wedding, another wedding in the making, love, tears, and challenges.  Some of the *things* stressful, and some that just put me right at ease.

True Story, when I need to destress, I start thinking of *all the things* I am thankful for. Fall is a time of  year I spend in gratitude. Why? Well, we have thanksgiving, duh? But also I have an art journal course I have done two years in a row, and we art about things we are thankful for.  Some years, I have taken one photo a day of all the things I am thankful for!

Here's just a quick list of some of the things I am thankful for, heading into this season of gratitude. It's great to watch your list change, improve, or even get smaller, because lets face it, sometimes less is really more!

       I am thankful for,
Feeling inspired to undertake new projects, the lightening storm we almost outran on the boat, pani pressed sandwiches on the rv (complete with pickles!) lying on the beach for hours talking to my husband and watching our dog swim, three of my favorite people visiting the island for my birthday, falling asleep in a freshly made bed in the rv (because I missed making the bed!) crazy morning thunderstorms, the patience to catch lightening bolts on my camera phone, the smells of the sea, getting up early just to eat a good breakfast at my favorite place, eating a good breakfast made by my husband at the rv, (because lets face it! Things taste better out under the good old out doors!) downtimes when we came home to wash our clothes, thankful for that washer and dryer, seriously! watching Sassy realize she was home and not at the beach. If you watch your animals, they will tell you there is really no place like home. Thankful for nights we went to bed early-and stayed out of trouble- best feeling EVER! Thankful for breaking in new shoes-the walks around the campground that broke them in! (the stories those shoes could tell!) SO MUCH MORE!

And LAST BUT NOT LEAST!

I am really thankful for, things starting to get back to normal!
I absolutely love camping. I love being spontaneous! And not knowing what is around the next corner? Like, will we have sunshine, will we have rain, will we have rough seas, will they be calm and BRIGHT LIT BLUE SKIES! WITH ZERO CLOUDS (those days were few and far between, but I was thankful for them when they showed themselves!) However, I am thankful for my ROUTINE! I am just slightly worse than a cat. I have my set ways. I have my routine. I am thankful for it. When I get home, it sure does take TIME to slip into that normal routine, and my 5 cats have a silly way of showing me and reminding me of that routine! It is wonderful, and the best feeling in the world when you see that you are getting BACK TO NORMAL! I love waking up in my own bed, next to 3 out of 5 cats! I dont really eat breakfast at home! Not like we do when we camp, because of King Bee's odd shift work, it's just hard! But I have missed drinking my coke at home on my own back porch, watching the sweet little hummingbirds come visit. As well as our next door neighbors kitten. I am thankful for writing all morning *morning pages* It's like living the dream, ( still at home, but two lives the RV and living at home can be LIVING THE DREAM LIVIN BABY! ) Coming home always makes me so thankful for this *LIFE!* And my little fur family always puts a smile on my face each day!

 Just KEEP LIVIN!

When you think life is stressful, because you are stressing over, not having enough, or certain situations in life, make a thankful for list. Then you will realize, you have plenty of *all the things* to be thankful for, rather it be experiences, good and or bad, or items like a pen on your creativity desk. These things make YOU who you ARE ! Be thankful for those and quit stressing!

Give me something to believe in !

Day 3 Blogging Along with Effy!
Today’s Nudge: Write about something you used to believe that you no longer believe and how that shift in belief has changed things for you.

When I read today's nudge, I got the song, "Something to Believe in," by Poison, stuck in my head! Felt totally 80's. Believe. Belief. I still believe in the 80's! And the power of 80s music! I still believe in big, wild hair, and puff paint! And jeans with holes, and paint all over them. I am a product of the 80s generation! I figured I would start today's blog in another direction of, what I still believe in. Rather than starting off with the nudge question :)
At 34, I have found myself questioning things in life. Back to yesterdays things and what things do you want? I hate the feeling of being "stuck!" I used to believe I would NEVER get stuck in life. WHO WANTS THAT? I love anything creative, and art is my latest obsession. I don't feel stuck there. However, I feel stuck in my photography. I used to firmly believe in my photography, and still do, to an extent. But this day and age with everyone having super nice camera phones, and everyone on the street has at least a walmart special camera and a cute kid, that they can take pictures of everyday, who needs a REAL photographer? You know, a real photographer, who went to school, and was the lead photographer for the schools newspaper. Who knows, what an F STOP is, not just what PHOTOSHOP is. Cell phone cameras killed this photographers DREAM! I used to dream of being a photojournalist for Rolling Stone Magazine. I love going to rock shows and capturing photos of musicians in their performances.
Last year I even became a Canon trader. I bought a Nikon, thinking that if I put my canon to "bed" and slept on it - so to speak, that I would get that urge back. Sadly, I am only called upon for family events. And I am the one who gets pushed out of the pictures, now for my talent instead of pushed in them.
I have tried to push myself to do my creative daily challenge and start my 365 Days in the Lens Blog back. But I fail about the 45th day.
     http://keeponsmilingphotography.blogspot.com/
I don't just want to push through this rut. I miss my photography. Really *MISS* it! But I am thankful, I now have my sweet trash journal writing habit back, and my art journal classes I can take to take care of my spiritual creativity for now.
I miss that feeling of being EXCITED about my photography.
It's like I feel like I broke up with a  lover! A really bad breakup. It's not about feeling good all the time. I know, I am allowed to sulk and figure out and sort out this rut and come up with something fresh for 2018.
I'M GETTING EXCITED JUST THINKING ABOUT PUSHING PUBLISH ON THIS POST!
I'M GETTING EXCITED ABOUT MY NEW ART E COURSES!
I'M GETTING EXCITED ABOUT THE WORD FRESH!
I still have things I get excited about, but I just really want that photography belief back!

This was the night I met him :)

One of my favorite Bret Michaels songs EVER!
I have am guilty I have seen him 7 years in a row at the hard rock.
Every Memorial Day weekend!

Everyone should believe in something, I believe I will listen to this song again!

It's football season and I want friendships!

Blogging along with Effy Wild day 2!

TODAY'S NUDGE
2) What do you really want?

Today is the big day! GAME DAY IN THE SEC! Game day for Alabama and Auburn, as I spoke briefly about yesterday. I lost a friendship last year over the last Alabama game. I try to remember, even during football season, to be Christ like, even though I bite my tongue and walk around on egg shells to please Alabama fans. Well, I've had it. I want more friendships with fans of the like, Auburn fans that is! Those of us, who are rebels at heart. Those of us, who love animals and are a true Auburn fan because they have one of the best vet schools around. But, yes I said it, rebel. By that I mean, we weren't born Auburn fans. I think that is because I was raised around some really unadultarated, obnoxious, caddy whiny Alabama fans. And they just ruined it for me ever wanting to say, those trashy Roll Tide Words!
My first memory, I am almost 7 or 8 and screaming WAR DAMN EAGLE! And I cussed, and I liked it! And it turned my grandfathers head! My grandfather had a gas station, where I would go visit on weekends with my Father, and we would get game day snacks. He had this blue and orange tie dye tee shirt, with those very words written across the top. He must have seen me eye balling it because he kindly took it off the shelf and gave it to me. I am pretty sure my Dad paid for it. However, it felt like he "gave" me this shirt because he could see it in my eyes, that I was NOT like the REST of them! And then and there, my Auburn FAN GIRL STARTED! I am sitting here this morning in my buckle blue and orange - that says- not so much Auburn fan, but at last it does scream WAR DAMN EAGLE, thinking of this sweet day!
Now I sit uneasy at 34 claiming to be an Auburn fan.
I think the world needs a little more of my grandfather in it, as he left this world a few years ago. More Alabama fans need to be more like him, and treat us Auburn fans with dignity. Because I know I still have mine in tact, after each Auburn loss. I want more of him. I want more TIME with him. This memory came back like no other. Come here Suga, come tell me about Auburn football. The way he said that word! Suga! I want that BACK! All the feels right now!

It is 2 oclock in the afternoon on Football Saturday and I am worn out!
I want this to be such a good season for Auburn. I feel like I will be sleeping by the time 6:30 rolls around. Kick off time, I DONT want that! I feel like a kid going to Disney the night before Game Day! I get so excited, and then wham all of my energy is drained, like that long 12 hour to Disney.  I want so much for this team this year! I WANT NUMBER ONE AND I WANT IT IN THE WORST WAY! Because, that WANT is way overdue! But here I am, still sitting here tapping my foot waiting patiently for this season to be the one.

I don't believe in the Auburn tailgate partying or the Alabama tailgate party. I just believe in parties. Stone Party of 2!
I will have my husband pick up some pizza hut pizza, some wings from Sams burger, some beer on ice, and I will have red beans and rice going. FINGER FOODS! THAT I SOOOO WANT! Oh and speaking of what else I want? Some good old snackin' sausage, ro*tel, velveeta cheese dip! We will have our own little party when he gets off work. Bless his heart he had to work overtime on opening game day of SEC football! I hope we both dont fall asleep during the game. Praying it won't be a snooze fest! Pj party for two! :)

FRI-NALLY! Footfall season!

It's here, it's here, FRI-NALLY! The last Friday before SEC FOOTBALL GAME DAY! This is the day we all wait for, in the south. Down here in the deep south, there isn't a fall season, so to speak, the south has, #FOOTFALL SEASON! While most of you dream of leaves falling, and them crunching under your feet as you walk around, the south dreams of screaming, WAR DAMN EAGLE, and ROLL TIDE at their tv screens! Why dream of that? You ask? It is one of the biggest and best rivalry's! Where families become houses divided, where friendships are gained, and even some friendships are lost. But if you were truly a friend, you wouldn't lose a family member, or a friendship over a football game, would you?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9HbppBs1qw

This is a little of what footfall season around my house sounds like!

I have lost friendships over being an auburn fan. I made this disclaimer facebook status update this morning, giving everyone fair warning, this is not the year to :

This is not directed at anyone but a reminder.
I will not be a shitty person and haunt your page and say war eagle all over it. However, i will on mine. I will say whatever i want on mine. But this year, I will not lose a friend or another book of the face over a shitty football game! If you feel this is you, remove yourself! Do not be a shitty sport. Last i checked, none of my friends, play for Alabama or Auburn. None of my friends have championship rings on their fingers. While you maybe a fan of that team, you are not playing for them. Dont say we! Because they dont have your name on the game roster!
Now have a seat. Enjoy your finger game foods and dont be typing on your phone with nasty cheeto hands! Just to come at me!
#end of story! Just dont be shitty.
I still get goose bumps. I am very passionate about my team that I support. Heck, I drive an orange sonic for crying out loud. I sleep in orange bed sheets in my rv, I have 7 jerseys and 5 outfits! 2 jackets and 1 hoodie! Even have orange and blue shoes! I also get really snazzy and dress super tacky on the Iron Bowl. I have even worn an iron on me before!

And this was the night I seriously cried watching this game!
Boy that was Magical. And NO  you can't take away that Magic from me!

So, to add to that, ENJOY YOUR SEASON AND DO YOUR TEAM.
ILL SIT BACK AND ENJOY MY SEASON.
You can't break me!

And you will complain about me saying FREEZE BRAIN, when it's BRAIN FREEZE!

Day 1, Sept 1st, on Blogging Along with Effy Wild!

TODAY'S NUDGE
1) Start where you are. What's going on with you? What's on your heart/mind today, right now, at this moment. No back story necessary. No disclaimers. What's up, buttercup? Spill it.

In my heart is a brain freeze! I'm drinking a 44 ounce Polar Pop. And I drank it too fast! I got carried away again! So, in speaking in terms of brain stuff.... I know I am right handed. But this morning I am doing everything lefty. I am somewhat ambidextrous. But i guess my right brain just is NOT awake yet! It is driving me batty!
But, in the real world of things, my heart can't take much more of this media fake news and hype! We actually are a very loving country! Hello, look at Texas, talk to your neighbor. Really, talk to them. It's giving me freeze brain every time I turn on my cell phone and check out the book of the face today.

com·plain
  • state a grievance.

I can't even begin to tell you how I feel about our country lately. We are the UNITED STATES, but lately, we are all under a "STATE OF GRIEVANCE!"

Trump being in Texas during Harvey,

Trump not being in Texas during Harvey.
Obama being in Louisiana during Katrina,
Obama not being in Louisiana during Katrina.
    Guess what?
    2005, was when Katrina Hit.
    Obama, WAS NOT president!
    George Bush was!

Then you have news reporters reporting FAKE NEWS, and you also have news reporters reporting NOT SO FAKE news. Not all news being passed along is misinformation or miscommunication. See, I majored in Mass Communications. Obviously, they are letting every single one of you reporting news NOT go to SCHOOL or even COLLEGE, but let you on TV because you have a good look about your self and present yourself so the public will find you likeable.

But if you HAD gone to COMMUNICATION courses, you would have learned that news is supposed to be FAIR and BALANCED. Nowhere in my communications class did I learn "FAKE NEWS!"
My complaint is, consider the source. Do you even take a moment to use your brains and think for yourself is this true? Or do you just keep reading and assume? Do you pick up the smart phone you have and do your own research? Do you spend five minutes of time to form your own thoughts. Educated or not, someone out there will learn to spot this fake news.
What makes me sad the most about our nation, is you are believing false lies, from anyone. Pink Floyd said it best, " mother do you trust the government ?"

YOUR TIME IS LIMITED, SO DON'T WASTE IT ON SOMEONE ELSE'S LIE!

    *NOTE TO SELF*
YOU ARE A HOOT! I LOVE YOU AND I AM PROUD OF YOU!

And you rock my peanut butter and jellyfish, butter cup!
